In order to fully realize the potentials at a site, we explore the cultural and physical history of the place including its topography and vegetation; the role of the property in the watershed; the passage of light and wind through the site; and its history of settlement.

We believe that, at a minimum, our activities must greatly reduce the impact we currently exert on the environment, and we aspire to help lead our industry toward solutions that not only do less harm, but also promote healthy systems. At the core of the process that will allow us to move from sustainability to regeneration is an integrated approach to design that honors systems thinking.
