Successful implementation of good design strategies depends upon early communication of the goals and opportunities that define a project. We begin our explorations by asking a lot of questions and by cultivating relationships with community constituents.

Open dialogue and discernment provide both design team and client with a deeper understanding of what lies at the core of the institution, with an enhanced awareness of the special potentials for a site, and with an increased knowledge of the technical and intellectual resources that can help to promote a healthy synthesis between institution and site.
